Representing Ealing’s monthly ‘The Mile Series’ , the Memorial Mile run is held in memory of Andrew Carter, a young Ealing resident who passed away during the Ealing Half Marathon in 2014.

nd September is the date for the 2017 edition of the Andrew Carter Memorial Mile, which is held at Lammas Park, based south of the Jigsaw development.
This great cause is held free of charge for all entrants and donated proceeds will help support the excellent charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Lammas Park is a flat and fast one lap, mile long course, which is suitable for all abilities and ages. Whether you’re a competitive runner wishing to achieve a personal best time, or wanting to jog or walk the route, the inclusive nature of the event will ensure everyone is welcome.
The meeting point is inside the main gate of Lammas Park at the junction of Culmington Road and Beaconsfield Road, Ealing W5 5JH. Race numbers can be collected on the day from 10:30 onwards; the race will start at 11:00.
For those wishing to enjoy a crisp morning walk or get set for the weekend ahead, head onto Lammas Park and participate in this fantastic community event.
