Issue No. 1

October 2016
The countdown is almost over and you will soon be moving into your new home at Plough Apartments. Throughout November we will be welcoming residents to their new homes and our aim is to make the experience of moving in run as smoothly as possible.

By now you should have received an introductory letter from our Aftercare team. Someone will be in touch soon to arrange your personal appointment to view your home and show you how to maintain and care for everything inside your new home. This appointment is with a member of our Aftercare team who will also be there for you on your move in day.
We will provide your solicitor with 10 working days notice to complete - this is when your home becomes legally yours and we hand you the keys - and book in your completion appointment. We are committed to ensuring we make the process as simple and straightforward for you as possible so if you would like to complete on a specific date, please let us know in advance and we will be as flexible as possible.

On completion day your solicitor will let you know once funds are cleared, at which point your keys will be released to you at your appointment. During handover we will give you a bespoke guide which provides you with all the important information you need to know about your home and the local area. If you are unable to attend handover on the day of completion or wish to arrange for someone to collect your keys on your behalf, please let us know.

St Peter's Church

The church on site is due to complete after the apartments. The building continues to rise out of the ground - as you can see, the external works are nearly finished and the focus is now on completing the internals.

For more information about the church visit www.spb.church.

Battersea Park Fireworks

There is always something to do at Battersea Park with events happening throughout the year.

Book your tickets in time for the Battersea Park Fireworks display on 5th November. Wrap up warm and head out to enjoy a choreographed firework display to a musical soundtrack. Get there early to grab a bite to eat from the food stalls before the show begins!

Need help understanding your lease?

On Saturday 5th November we'll be running an event to help residents understand their lease. The event will cover the rights and responsibilities of all parties, understanding the terms of the lease and information regarding service charges.
